Every 3–6 months, I “reset my mirror.”
For years, I’ve used sticky notes on my phone as reminders of my current focus—who I am proud to be today and who I’m grateful to be becoming.
Until now, I’ve numbered them 1 to 90, counting down as if I were journeying toward the next evolution of myself.
But this time, something felt different. I’ve evolved. And so must my practice.
As I step into 2025—my first reset since relaunching my brand, since sharing my journey from a place of joy and gratitude rather than hustle and force—I knew my system needed to reflect this shift.
Just as I set my goals and intentions in phases, my sticky notes are now a running count of the days I commit to 1% daily gains toward my benchmark goals. Each phase holds a distinct focus, a new layer of expansion.
In my LB Method, you take your biggest dreams—your Legacy Beacons—and distill them into believable benchmarks, then break them down into aligned daily actions. I’ve been refining this practice for over a year, but this is the first time I’ve had an aha moment in a long time.
And here it is:
No matter what book I’m reading, what training I’m implementing, or how I feel—whether my energy is soaring, depleted, or just meh—I can always claim my life in small, sustainable ways. And that is what creates truly transformative results.
Whether I’m in a personal winter, where brushing my teeth feels like a victory, or a personal summer, where I can take on the world—I can honor exactly where I am.
The Power of Built-In Flexibility
I realized the problem was never the size of my dreams. It was the quality of my systems.
The issue was never my brain. It was believing the lie that I was broken simply because I was forcing myself into systems that were never designed for me.
Accomplishing your goals doesn’t have to be a painful, uphill battle—not if you’re working with your human nature instead of against it.
For years, I played by the rules of productivity culture. And yes, I achieved amazing things. But behind the scenes, I was exhausted, anxious, and terrified that one day they would find out.
Find out that my brain didn’t work like theirs.
Find out that behind my smile was unhealed trauma.
Find out that the polished version of me was only half the truth—because behind closed doors, I had 30 doom piles stacked around my home, constant mental clutter, and a lifetime of neurodivergent tendencies I had hidden out of self-protection.
I gave grace to everyone else. I encouraged my clients, my friends, my loved ones to embrace who they truly were.
But I never gave that permission to myself. Until now.
The Freedom of Transparency
Hitting rock bottom gave me nothing left to lose—but everything to gain.
I saw, for the first time, the opportunity in starting over.
To get clean of guilt, shame, resentment, and blame.
To embrace transparency.
To show up fully—and let them watch.
Judge if they must.
Join if they will.
Either way, I’m free.
So as I take bold, terrifying steps—applying for TEDx knowing I may never hear back, crafting my first book proposal, putting my voice into the world knowing some people will roll their eyes—I share it all because there is nothing I can do that you can’t.
There is no dream too big for you.
When I say I understand how hard it is, I mean it from a place of embodied struggle.
And when I say I have a method that might finally be the one to help you get unstuck, I mean that, too.
Because I’m proof.
I’ve gone from full mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual collapse to reclaiming my life—one sustainable step at a time.
I want you to come with me.
Step one? Gratitude Glow & the LB Method.
If you truly live them, you’ll see how simple it all can be—when you stop fighting yourself and start moving with the rhythm of who you were always meant to be.
You're doing such a great job and I can't wait to hear about the life you unlock when you set yourself free.
